Over the years, I’ve explored every corner of Caledon with my camera — from sunflower fields to cozy cider barns. It’s one of those places where every season brings something new and beautiful. Whether you’re planning family photos, maternity portraits, or a couples session, Caledon has so many gorgeous spots that feel natural, relaxed, and full of charm.
Here are a few of my favourite local locations that always photograph beautifully.
GoodLot Farm & Farmstead Brewing Co.
If you love warm, golden tones and rustic charm, GoodLot is the perfect backdrop. Between the hop fields, open farm views, and textured wooden barns, it has that easy countryside feel that looks incredible at golden hour.
It’s ideal for couples or family sessions where you want something casual but full of character — maybe even ending the evening with a craft beer in hand. There’s just something special about this spot when the sun dips low over the fields.
Spirit Tree Estate Cidery
Perched on a hill surrounded by orchards, Spirit Tree is stunning year-round. In summer, the orchard rows glow in soft, golden light; in fall, the trees turn into a vibrant canvas of oranges and reds.
The cider barn and stone walls bring a cozy, timeless vibe to any shoot — perfect for maternity, couples, or even small family sessions. It’s one of those places that feels like an escape, even though it’s right here in Caledon.
Caledon Trailway
The Caledon Trailway is one of my go-to locations for families who love natural, outdoor sessions. Long open paths, wooden bridges, and tall grass fields give so many options for movement and connection.
Every season brings a new look — soft green in spring, warm tones in fall, and even a magical stillness in winter. If you love candid, easygoing photos that feel like “you,” this trail is always a winner.
Belfountain Conservation Area
Belfountain feels like something out of a storybook. Between the waterfalls, stone bridges, forested trails, and historic charm, it’s full of variety and texture.
I love this spot for couples and engagement sessions — there’s something romantic about the sound of rushing water and the way the light filters through the trees. In early fall, the colours here are absolutely breathtaking.
Davis Family Farm
If you’ve ever dreamed of photos surrounded by endless rows of sunflowers, Davis Family Farm is where that dream comes true. The fields stretch as far as the eye can see, glowing bright yellow in late July and early August.
It’s a joyful, vibrant setting — perfect for maternity or family sessions that feel fun and full of life. The golden tones and soft evening light here are truly magic.
Lavender Fox Farm
Soft purples, calming air, and dreamy light — Lavender Fox is one of the most peaceful and photogenic places in Caledon.
The lavender fields create a beautiful, romantic setting, and the gentle breeze through the rows makes everything feel effortless. It’s a perfect spot for couples or maternity photos, especially in the golden hour light of summer.
