Studio Newborn Sessions
My studio newborn sessions are designed to be relaxed, baby-led, and completely stress-free for new parents. These sessions typically last 2–3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddles, and breaks as needed.
In my Georgetown studio, I carefully create beautiful, timeless portraits while incorporating a variety of colors, textures, and creative styling options to match your vision. Using professional lighting and gentle posing techniques, every image is created with your baby's comfort and safety as the top priority. From wraps and headbands to thoughtfully selected props and accessories, every detail is planned for you so you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience.
Family and sibling portraits are always welcome, allowing us to document this special chapter as your family grows.
With a collection of high-quality newborn props, wraps, bonnets, headbands, and accessories available in the studio, there's no need to bring anything other than your precious new baby.
For the best results, newborn sessions are ideally scheduled within the first 2–3 weeks after birth. To ensure availability, your session is reserved using your due date and finalized once your little one arrives.

Who is this session for?
It is best to schedule your newborn session within those first 2-3 weeks while your baby is still small enough and sleepy enough to achieve those perfect newborn poses. Should you end up with a scheduled c-section or induction date please kindly let me know so I can adjust in my calendar accordingly.
Where does it take place?
Newborn sessions are done at my Georgetown studio. I try to emulate a ‘womb’ like environment for your baby to keep them calm and sleeping, so the studio will be VERY warm and white noise will be playing. As my studio doesn’t have a lot of seating room, I kindly ask that you do not bring extra family members/friends with you to the session who are not involved with the photoshoot. In home sessions are not newborn posed sessions, but more a lifestyle session and a travel fee will be charged.
How long is the session?
A typical newborn session is around 2.5 to 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for breaks if your baby needs it.
What is included?
- 10 Digital images included
- Studio wardrobe (fabrics, hats, headbands and more) for the newborn.
- Session is for baby only (see “More Info” when booking if more people will participate in the session)
